Jawai, which is a relatively undiscovered area with a lot more to offer than you might anticipate, is situated in the Sumerpur Tehsil of the Pali district. It is a small community located by the river and dam of the same name.

Former Maharaja Ummaid Singh Bahadur of Marwar State, whose capital was Jodhpur, constructed the spectacular dam.

The largest dam in Western Rajasthan and the largest dam ever built, JAWAI is sprawled across 13 square kilometres and meets the region's water needs.

The place is also Home to different bio-diversity existing in cohesiveness. It's a favourite places for migratory Birds over 150 spicies come here, it's a Home for nearly 400 crocodiles and not the least around 60 marvelous Cat leopard resides here. it's the ideal location for people looking for isolation, adventure, and peace.
